Updating time

It's been a long long time since I've uploaded anything.
Working at the moment on a project that takes up most of my time.
Meanwhile, I thought I'd make a quick update with just a few works I did:

I will come back with some updates soon!

Done with the semester

Just a quick update. Today I've handed my modeling project and this was the result I came by with:

Now of course it's still not all completed. It does have textures and rig (which I still need to finalize) but I still have to work on shaders, weight painting and adding more deformers. Nevertheless, it was more than enough I think for this project which was all about organic modeling. So far so good, the result is pretty satisfying. Yet I still think I'll keep working on it. In any case, I hope ya'll like my work so far :)

Cheers~

It's about time!

So, those who might have started reading my blog by now, might have wondered where the hell was I lately.
Well, I've finally completed the modeling of Gebri the mime and moving on to rigging now.
Here are a few shots of the completed model:

I hope Ya'll like. It's the first stylized character modeling I've completed. I know it doesn't look complicated, but I had to compromise a lot on all kinda details which I wasn't sure how to handle.
Nevertheless, seems like this model will work just fine for its purpose.

By the way, I want to thank and credit the amazing artist who designed Gebri the mime,
So thanks to Jose Manuel Fernandez Oli! Keep rockin'!

Cheers~

Topologeek

Alright so it's been about two weeks since my previous rage post about topology. I must say it takes way more than I expected to figure things out, but in my defense, I do have other assignments besides the modeling X) In any case, here's a little WIP of an almost complete stylized character model:

I admit it's not the best, however it's the best that I have ever achieved so far in character modeling, so I guess I'm starting to feel that little tingle of pride I've been waiting for. And yet it's quite early for celebration (regardless of the hour at the moment of writing this post that is heh). Still much work to be done here. So I hope to show more progress in just a bit ;)
